Fifteen lodges around the State help their communties in countless ways.
The Alaska State Elks Association is dedicated to helping member Lodges and their communities through charitable work, officer training, and our Major Project. The ASEA was formed in 1959 and represents 15 Alaska Lodges and more than 5,400 Elk members.
The purpose of the ASEA is to unite all Elks in the loving embrace of our fraternal roots, promote the interests of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, and foster the virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. We are united in our patriotic devotion to the United States of America and strive to empower all Elks within the state of Alaska to truly exemplify The Best People on Earth.
The ASEA’s charitable programs include:

The Major Project of the Alaska State Elks Association is a Youth Camping program that provides a one week summer camping experience for 80 boys and 80 girls ages 9 through 12 from throughout the State of Alaska at no cost to the family.
The ENF awards 2.44 million annually in MVS scholarships to 500 high school seniors nationwide.
The Alaska State Elks Association has established a variety of programs designed to help our lodges grow and prosper.
The ASEA has a proud history of working with Lodges around the State of Alaska to better their communities. ASEA Veteran’s Programs include the Wounded Veterans Progam, Take a Vet Fishing, the Recreational Therapy Program, our Service Dog Program, and the Veterans Administration Voluntary Service program (VAVS). The ASEA Major Project You Camp offers underprivileged children an opportunity to experience the Great Alaskan Outdoors in a fun and safe way. We also provide scholarships to qualifying graduates to help them at the start of their journey through life.
