Our camping program focuses on outdoor activities such as swimming and canoeing in our private lake and hiking, disc golf, and other outdoor sports on our 80 plus acre property. We also include arts and crafts activities as well as team-building exercises, water safety instruction, archery, and nature appreciation in our program. The Camp facility, as part of our Major Project, not only provides for our camping program but is also used by local Boy Scout Councils, Alaska Department of Fish and Game for hunter safety training, and by our Alaska State Elks Association Wounded Veterans Project which sponsors outdoor camping events for our troops returning from a combat zone who are in need of assistance making the transition from combat duty back to regular peacetime duty.
The camp facilities are also available for rent for private events such as weddings, family reunions, etc. and its back country location also makes it an excellent starting point for ATV, hunting and snow machining adventures.
